Classical Game Sword of Fargoal 2 Coming to Multiple platforms if Kickstarter Campaign is Successful
Fans of dungeon crawling games like Diablo may remember the hit classic title from 1982 known as Sword of Fargoal. The classical rpg game just got a green light from Kickstarter and will soon be heading to multiple platforms, and one of which is Android if it proves to be success during the campaign.
For RPG gamers who haven’t tried Sword of Fargoal, the game was released way back during the early 80’s and features random generated dungeons for you to explore. The original game developer Jeff McCloud has already jump start the revival of the game through their Kickstarter campaign in the hopes of reviving the old classical game. The features will depend on how much funding the game will receive and if you want a good classical game then you’de better head of to their official Kickstarter campaign to pledge your support.
The revamped version will be called as Sword of Fargoal 2 and will feature new spells, monsters, and quests which are not found on the original game. Aside from that, there will also be a new “Action Cards” system that will keep track of your achievements and will let you export them to review your complete adventure in a fashionable slide show. And just like any other RPG game, characters are customizable.
If the Kickstarter campaign reaches its targetted goal of $50,000, the game will be launched on PC, Linux and iOS versions. But if it reaches the stretch goal
of $110,000, the Android platform will be added on the list. So if you have been a fan of the original game before, then you might want to consider donating some bits of your cash to the program.
