Final Fantasy IV: The After Years Brings 3D Goodness and a Sequel of the Original Series.
Square Enix has finally released the next installment of their highly successful Final Fantasy franchise by making a 3D remake with Final
Fantasy IV: The After Years. The After Years has just arrived in Google Play and features the original game being redone in glorious 3D. Aside from the huge improvement of graphics, the after years is technically the sequel of Final Fantasy IV.
As the name suggests, the story takes place after 17 years of the original Final Fantasy IV game. Many of the original members are also making a comeback with NPC’s from the SNES version becoming a playable character.
The After Years hosts a lot of features with ten “Playable Tales” to begin with starting with “Ceodore’s Tale”. Completing it will unlock an additional six characters to play with that can be played in any order you wish. There is also an Active Time Battle system that lets you take control of exhilarating combat that is made possible with Square Enix’s iconic battle system.
There is also Band Abilities present that will let you combine the strength of party members to do a lot of awesome effects that can be unlocked through leveling your character’s Affinity. Additionally it also supports Google Play Game Support to boast your achievements to other layers.
