Posted July 9, 2012 by Noah Mocorro in News

The Samsung Galaxy Note is already a fantastic device with a large-screen and powerful GPU. But have you ever thought of mounting it with your PS3 controller? Despite the large screen, playing games with touch-controls is quite hard most especially for FPS shooting titles. Controllers are just the best way to play games and definitely the prime choice most especially in hard core games.

On a special note, Android modders and hackers will always find a workout to get around with touch-screen navigations. For starters, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play was the first device to have certified Playstation controls, but that is soon about to change once you take a look on this epic Galaxy Note mod.

Well the Galaxy Note just got its own. Although the controller is still in its prototype version, it is still one kick-ass machine. With just some old wires and a Playstation 3 Six-axis controller, everything is possible. Didn’t I mention that the controller is also customizable from the physical buttons down to the sensitivity?

The results are awesome and it just goes to show that with some passion and creativity, creating your own pocketable gaming machine will never be a problem. If you have been playing a lot of games lately, most especially emulated Playstion One and Nintendo 64 games, then definitely this modified Galaxy Note Playstation Controller hack is for you.

So here it is the Samsung Galaxy Note and PS3 controller mashup with the complete video tutorial. Check out the video below and tell us what you think on the comments section below.
