Kabam games are known in the community for their free-to-play browser games like their recently released Arcane Empires for Android. Their latest addition is going to set Lord of the Rings fans on fire as their new game will be based on The Hobbit. Officially called as The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth, this latest installment will be available for both mobile and tablet versions with an expected release date this coming Fall, just a stone throw away of Peter Jackson’s upcoming The Hobbit trilogy.

Dual Hobbit Fun

We still didn’t have the exact scoop of the game but we do know that it will be similar to that of Arcane Empires where players will have to build structures and manage their economy except it will be based on the Lord of the Rings Universe.

The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth will be Kabam’s two Hobbit based games and will soon roll out this coming Fall, together with the other title known as The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age┬áthat is specifically designed for web browsers that will allow players to control large armies of different races like dwarves, orcs and elves just to name a few.

The games will not be somewhat tied-in with the release of The Hobbit, but it does hold many features and characters based from the film and their adventure. Both games will be free-to-play and just like any Kabam games, it will feature a social community where you can interact with other players. For those of you who are die-hard fans with the Lord of the Rings franchise, Kabam is already offering a free beta sign-up on their official webpage.
