Metal Gear: Social Ops Hits Google Play. Remains Exclusive for Japan
Finally, Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops has finally arrived in the Google Play Store, at least for Japan only. While the release date are still set on the land of the rising sun, there is a huge chance that Social Ops will soon get a worldwide release.
Bearing the name “Social Ops”, you can quickly differentiate that the game is much more of a social game that employs card battles and mashes of with RPG like elements. In
Social Ops, players will be taking the role as none other
than Snake, with him organizing his troops to handle down harder opponents. Once you are all set and organized, you’ll be able to infiltrate whatever base you like and are tasked to complete mission objectives for that particular mission.
Social Ops is not your typical 2D card game, but rather the game is completely rendered in 3D graphics. Not to mention the fully animated battles. If you have played Metal Gear Acid on the PlayStation Portable then you wouldn’t be surprised by the cards present in the game. Considering this game is more of a social game, we can expect that it is free to download on the Google Play Store that is provided that you live in Japan or happen to have a third party market enabler. Also, you need to register a Japanese GREE social gaming account to play the game.
You can check out Metal Gear: Social Ops at the Google Play Store.
