Monster Hunter and Ninja Gaiden Heads off to Android as Japan Exclusive for now
One great advantage of living in Japan is the fact that you will always have access to great and exclusive game titles. If you have been a mobile gamer before and love a classic fast paced action game with a mix of RPG elements then you’ll certainly love the news we are about to report. Capcom’s popular Monster Hunter franchise and Tecmo Koei’s Ninja Gaiden series will soon branch out to both iOS and Android platforms. The new Capcom game is called as Montster Hunter: Massive Hunting and for Tecmo Koei, the game is known as Ninja Gaiden for One
Million People. Both games will be integrated onto GREE’s social platform.
Like we said earlier, both games remain only a Japanese excusive but that doesn’t mean it won’t be ported out. For now GREE is continuously setting for a worldwide push for games under their wings and this is especially true even for games published in Japan.
Ninja Gaiden Fun
Ninja Gaiden for One Million People will let players swipe their screen to mimic slashing swords. Double tapping on the other hand will throw shurikens. Aside from being an action packed game, Ninja Gaiden is also a TCG (Trading Card Game) that will let players collect various cards of Ryu, Ayane and other Ninja Gaiden characters in the series. Although there is no is a clear indication that the TCG elements will be implemented in the game we do love the fact it is part of the game.
Both Ninja Gaiden for One Million People and Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting is slated for a later release in Japan and were pretty sure that these titles will be free to download as they are hosted on Mobage. But expect to have in-game app purchases popping out every once in a while if you want to unlock powerful weapons and upgrades. We’ll let you know once we know the full scoop on the release date and other juicy information.
Japanese Exclusive?
Since these games are on Mobage, there is a 99.9% chance that both will be available for free to download with some sort of in-game purchases available. As for a worldwide release of either title, we have one little business related tip for GREE. If you want your worldwide launch of your social gaming platform to be successful, start bringing these games to everyone else outside of Japan. Will this actually happen? There is a good chance of it but for right now we have to wait to find out.
