Ubisof Unleashes Assassins Creed: Utopia for Mobile Platforms

Excited for the upcoming Assassin Creed 3 hitting store shelves this November? We’ll to curb your appetite Ubisoft is teasing us with a new Assassin’s Creed spin-off known as Assassin’s Creed Utopia: a strategy simulation game for both the iOS and Android platform.

The new Assassins Creed title will be set during America’s pre-colonial era, and instead of assassinating targets by leaping through buildings using your hidden blades, the new game will take on a new direction by being a simulation game giving you a firsthand look on how the Assassins influenced history and carve the way of the nation’s original thirteen colonies.

Since the game is built around strategy, players will be able to build their own 17th century colony and watch it grow in the course of 150 years during the first settlers until the arrival of the revolution.

The settlement you created will be the home of the New World’s first Assassins.¬† These Assassins will can be pitted to your circle of friends through a 3D asynchronous brawls, or enlist their help to defeat common foes through a “limited time epic battles.”

According to Ubisoft, Assassins Creed: Utopia does not tie-up with the story nor does it complement on the upcoming Assassins Creed 3 which launches on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles this coming October 31st. In other words, it is a completely new title and consider it as a prologue to Assassins creed 3.

Assassins creed: Utopia will be released on both Android and iOS version and will be free to play¬† since it will be available on GREE’s social gaming network.
